Anxiety for no reason

I've been feeling anxious for like a week now.. I can't control the anxiousness. How can I calm down? What I have been doing is laying down infront of a fan and relaxing, it kinda helps :/ and any reasons why I could be having anxiety for no reason? Thanks..

Is this the first time you've ever experienced anxiety?

When I had my first anxiety attack, I didn't know what happened. It would be a few years before I found out what "it" was called.

I like the idea of laying in front of a fan. I used to lay down with the vacuum cleaner on it's side, running, to calm down.  :yes: Whatever works.

Maybe the hum of the white noise is calming to you.

But I would say you can try to calm down....as you are doing with the fan.

If you have a massager mat, try laying on it. I have one now, and it's wonderful...it doesn't have a timer so it just keeps on going until I turn it off. Very relaxing.

But anxiety which happens often, or at the wrong time, can affect the behaviour and thoughts of the anxious person in negative ways and it is best to seek professional help.
