fear of pelvic pain/abdominal pain
« on: June 30, 2014, 02:30:07 AM »
Lately, I have been feeling bloated and crampy in general, but I have noticed that my pelvic hurts while I'm having bowel movements. Does this happen to anyone else? I am concerned it is serious. I am a 27 year old female.

Any ideas? The doc is having me do a transvaginal ultrasound.

Are you constipated? Because that's what causes it for me.

Could be endometriosis.  Very common and sometimes painful but not harmful.

Yes, I am constipated. But this didn't used to happen before. My fear is that it's endometriosis. Doesn't that mean I can't have kids? :(

I think it depends on how severe it is and that it's more difficult but not impossible. Did your mom have it? Because I'm also pretty sure that it's hereditary.

Many people have successfully had kids after endo if that is what it turns out to be.  They can do a laperscopic surgery to clean it all out when you are ready to try and conceive.  We had fertility issues that were with my husband.  I had the surgery just in case to see if I had any issues.  I only had a small amount but they cleaned it out while they were in there.
