« on: June 29, 2014, 05:29:51 PM »
Okay this is week 2 off my off balance sympton and it's really making me feel I have somethin serious goin on my balance feels so off when I walk but yet I'm not falling or running into things I don't know what it is I have no health insurance so MRI is out the question... I'm not dizzy or I do not feel like I'm goin to faint it's jus a off balance feeling like when I walk I sway side to side ... Does anybody feel or have felt this way it's really really hard to explain the feeling

I think you and I have talked about this. Does it feel like your legs are walking on a trampoline? Boat? Like you just feel it on the inside of your body? Can you walk straight? Can you stand steady with your eyes closed and feet together?

Do you feel it when you lean over?

Have you seen a doctor?

Not really when I lean over I can feel it sometimes while laying down but mostly when I'm walkin i haven't went to the doctor because of money and everytime I do go they tell me it's anxiety but I never went for this symptom but I was there 2 weeks ago for a lump feeling in my throat that went away everytime I go to the doctor or we it's for a different symptom smh

Well what I would recommend is seeing an ent. I know you can't go right now and that's the bad part. It could be inner ear or maybe sinuses? Do you have sinus or allergy problems? I don't know if I have asked you this or not. I get confused cause so many people I have talked to on here with balance issues.

Yes my sinus is bad but I have yet to feel any pain or discomfort in my ears and I have not really been sneezing and all the regular sinus effects I hope it is an inner ear problem but nothing feels wrong wit my ears

It could be sinuses. You can go without feeling any symtoms of sinus problems  at all. When I began feeling off balance I didn't really feel many symptoms. Just a bit of congestion. I surly did not feel anything wrong with my ears either. Most of the time people don't. It could fluid in your middle ear, could be mucus built up in your sinuses throwing off your equilibrium.

As for inner ear infection, there's no pain or anything. It doesn't really sound like that but it could be. It's hard to tell.

Have you been having any stress in your life? Could be anxiety. It's hard to tell. But to me does sound more like your ears and disequilibrium.

I know exactly how you feel. The off balance feeling for me was a huge trigger. And still is. I'm pretty much in the bed all the time. Trying to get my sinuses and allergies under control.

No problem. I know what you are going thru. I'm trying ways to help myself get better and not be so afraid. I'm gonna be ordering a self help book on health anxiety on amazon and I've been doing research on magnesium I hear it's great for anxiety and a lot of other things. There's hope for us. There's no reason for us to live this way in fear. It may take time and practice and leap of faith but that's the only way we can beat it and not let it control us. And pray that god gives us the strength. He only gives battles to his toughest soldiers. :)
