Group therapy?
« on: June 25, 2014, 09:53:10 PM »
Has anyone tried group therapy for anxiety and had success with it?  Is there even such a  thing? How would I go about finding a group?  I am not currently seeing a therapist.

I haven't done group therapy for anxiety but had done it for depression a while back.
Currently I'm part of a meetup anxiety  group and find it very helpful.  We also have an
online website chat element.

You might google meetup groups for anxiety in your area.  I'm in Chicago.

I like the idea of group therapy, however I have been unable to locate one anywhere near me....I'm in Connecticut.
Try this site.

Good luck,
