I actually work full time and seem normal to everyone. I occasionally have a break down but I'm usually ok. I just feel like my hands are weird looking and wanted Shawn to look at them, since he's a physician (if I'm not mistaken). After he looks at the pictures and gives me his opinion I won't post anything else. Unless, of course, I truly have clinical weakness. I'm sorry to sounds rude or anything. My anxiety peaks in the morning when I'm typically on here. I work late so that's why it's 11am to 3-4pm. I'm just tired of the twitching. It hasn't left in five and a half months, WHY?! I refuse to waste more money on testing. I'm also ok an anti depressant (celexa). I feel a lot better than when I started my HA in January. While you think I'm going to switch fears I'm really not. Halfway thru this I had a logical colon cancer scare and immediately after that I came right back.

Also Logan (nom), how're you doing? I assume a lot better. Any of your symptoms subside? I know deep down we're all anxious 😜 Get your phone back already. At least talking to you made me feel good. Even if it wasn't anxiety related.

My symptoms are pretty much limited to twitches and spasms; still primarily in my right leg. Everything else has subsided, including the bounding pulse that lasted several months. I'm actually checking about the phone today. It's pretty inconvenient being without one.

I hope you prove me wrong regarding not moving to a new disease fear.

Besides swallowing a pill, what else are you doing?  I know you may think I am being snotty, but what you are doing to yourself is serious.  All of this reassurance seeking, self-testing, monitoring your body  IS what is causing your symptoms.   I know, I know you honestly don't believe that.  which, of course, is part of the issue of      anxiety.  Anxiety is a liar and we lap it up like a cat drinking a bowl of milk.

I truly hope you find your healing path.  good luck a and be well.

MOST anxiety occurs on a subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state

Good ole' twitches....I'm glad to hear everything else has calmed down. You were going off the deep end for a whole. See any new doctors?

Two job interviews tomorrow and my sleeve complete!!

Six, I realized my mornings are tough. My plan was to get up and be active before 3 (when I work). I went great for a whole week. I played with my puppy, went fishing, and even skated. Then the guy I hangout with got a full time job and in stuck here being bored before work. Back to focusing on twitches.

Mk I'm having the same issues with als fears as you. 5 neuros a neurosurgeon 2 als specialists physiologist an ent and my gp as well as mris an emg ct scans and my left wrist looks like yours and still they are not concerned. I have multilevel cervical spondylitic myelopathy that is the culprit as well as carpel tunnel. Saw the last neuro last week and even with my wrist looking the way it does am 6/5 on the strength scale. So all that happened in the last six months too they wouldn't have missed it. Anxiety can destroy you if you let it and I'm not going to let it don't let it happen to you.

I bet they looked at your hand and didn't even care. It's not true atrophy and it's always been that way.

Thanks roman for the input. Maybe Lyme disease..I've had five ticks on me in the last three months. Even though the twitching was before the ticks.

Nolan what in f***.

Roman just shared how anxiety can cause you all kinds of distress and you totally tossed it aside and are now on 'maybe Lyme Disease'.
