« on: June 21, 2014, 08:01:27 PM »
Have any of u checked ur pulse when just standing? Mines been 94-116.  Is that normal? Also my heart rate after eating has been going up to around 100 sitting. Normal for me is around 88.

I wouldn't worry about it. When I stand up, my Heartrate sometimes hits as high as 160!

My usual is 60-70. It also jumps up a lot when eating.

I told my doctor, and he didn't seem to think there was any problem :P

It's just the norm. My rates aren't - 160 is ridiculously high, but I dunno what's causing it yet! Naturally, when we stand, blood has to flow quickly to various parts of the body - to our legs, to our heads as they dictate our balance and things. It's the same deal with eating, where blood is rushed to the stomach to aid in digestion :)
