Green Mucus?! - What should I do??
« on: June 20, 2014, 01:44:26 PM »
So I've had nasal congestion for the past couple months, but lately it seems to have gotten much better.

However, last night when I blew my nose, green snot came out! Great... is this always a sign of a infection? Do I take antibiotics? I don't feel sick, in fact I feel better, no fever or anything....

If it was an infection you would have symptoms, like fever. The color isn't a good indicator of an infection. Don't worry.

Last week I saw my psychiatrist. I told him, "Doc, I keep thinking I'm a dog." He told me to get off his couch.  --Rodney Dangerfield

Yeah no fever, just congestion and occasional sinus pressure... I've been dealing with a bad case of allergies this year.
