« on: May 20, 2005, 11:44:09 AM »
Who here has ever feelt judged, like people know you outside, shuts their blinds because people can see in, which they really can but to a degree of the light not being on because you dont want people to know youre home all the time ore calculated answering the phone for the same reason while at the whole time being conscience and rational?   :dazed:

Yes, sometimes I feel I'm being judged even when I'm alone. -_- I get really tired of that....  When I'm conscience of my walking or breathing I still am ....*looks up rational*

Rational:
 1 a : having reason or understanding b : relating to, based on, or agreeable to reason : REASONABLE <a rational explanation> <rational behavior>

Reason:
2 a (1) : the power of comprehending, inferring, or thinking especially in orderly rational ways : INTELLIGENCE (2) : proper exercise of the mind (3) : SANITY b : the sum of the intellectual powers

I'm sure I still have my intelligence and I comprehend normally, only I am more conscience of what I'm doing.

My husband and I are lucky enough to own our own house. We have an upstairs tenant who knows that I'm in the house all the time (same house) and she stays away from me and only comes down to pay the rent or let us know about a problem when my husband is home, like I have a disease or will suddenly pull out a knife and cut her throat or something. Whenever I see her I am very nice, it was my idea to remodel the outdated floors and paint and redo the kitchen and bathroom up there. When her husband died 12 years ago, we had a talk with her and asked if there was anything we could do, she said no, but I insisted we help her to stay living here ,so we have not raised the rent at all in 12 years. Yet she looks at me like I make her very nervous? It's a bit upsetting. :(

Hi Barb M,
it crossed my mind, that maybe your tennant, has an anxiety disorder. Maybe she keeps to herself because, she can't handle people.

Take care.

Hi Barb,
oh well, it was just a thought.
I suppose all you can do now is try to live with it and try not to let her fear rub off on you.

Yah well when I say "fear of landlord B-;" it's more the judgmental she's nuts ::) kind of thing so it's not the fear I'm hoping not to rub off, I'm just trying not to get to piffed at her. She's an old lady and we feel responsible for her because she lives in our house, but sometimes I feel like : ahh **** it, raise the rent, we need it and this is ridiculous to keep it so low, or ah let her walk all the way down the back to carry her own garbage and stuff like that. I would not do this in reality- I'm a nice person. It's just that I feel judged, that I'm not the good landlord that I am  :) but the evil sick wife of a good landlord  ;*) ...you know?
I joke when I write a lot (because I joke a lot when I talk too), I know this is confusing. I'll try to use smiles more for that purpose.
