I know how important it is to go and get check ups, and I know how great it feels when you get the all clear. Its been almost three years since I had a mammogram and 2 years since a pap smear, I am 56 and need to get checked for colon cancer or at least get the blood in the stool test done. Its been a few years since I had blood work done. ITS TIME.
I recently moved to Canada after getting remarried, yes I decided to take HA with me to Canada im dreading it, new doctors, waiting lists etc and pretty darn hard to get into a speacialist compared to the USA. I know I need to go in but what if I have to deal with a health problem in Canada EEEEK
. I have heard a few horror stories about Canadian health care and that's not what me and my HA need to hear. Anyone have any words of wisdom to help me make the appointments? My doc in the USA gave me Lorazepam and I would take it occasionally and it really helps my anxiety , I don't abuse it and only take it as needed. now I have to go find me a doc and convince him that I need this habit forming medication. I don't want to get sick in Canada and end up being in a horror story. UGGH
