FREEZING COLD LEG, but not to the touch?
« on: June 18, 2014, 02:46:02 PM »
anyone else get this? for the past 4-5 days now, my left leg has been frozen solid it feels like, but not to the touch. it looks just like my right leg - and works fine, or so it seems. starting to get a little concerned, and i hate dr. google. i guess you could say i am reassurance seeking here.

I have altered sensation in my left calf. Generally it feels warm
But not to the touch, sometimes it feels wet, sometimes small parts of it feel like I've spilled boiling water on them! I have no idea what it is. Perhaps a compressed nerve? I can't face going to the doctor about it yet. It works fine, no weakness or anything.

Could be a pinched nerve.  I went to the doctor with a hot feeling in my calf for a couple of days, and he told me it was nothing.  It went away a few days later; I assume that's what it was.
