Weird feeling in back
« on: June 16, 2014, 10:54:41 AM »
I have kind of a strange feeling in my back, specifically my lower back. It's not so much painful as it is a pressure with a slight ache when I bend back. I've had worries of testicular cancer for a long time (Despite my doctor saying that I'm fine on more than one occasion) and I read that lower back pain is a sign of a more advanced cancer to the lymph nodes back there (Which I cannot feel. Is that a good thing?). If it helps, I did do some yard work yesterday (Mowing the lawn and washing the dogs) but I'm not sure if that's the cause or if it would last a while after such activities. Please help me, I can't live with this worry.

I get the aches from activity the day after, never on the same day - like if I mow the lawn, I'll 'feel it the next day'. Your back hurts because you were doing manual work.

Sounds like just soreness from over activity.

Good news: The feeling is subsiding slightly.

What I failed to discuss was that I mowed the lawn two ways (Riding mower and push mower) but I took a break in between, but I rode more (I have a big yard, so it was an hour session). Would that have caused more of the lower back sensation? Despite me feeling a little better, it's still there and freaking me out

Sorry for the double post, but I have an update. I found a reddish spot where my pain/odd feeling is. It's just a few inches above my buttcrack and you can barely feel it. My dad says it could just be a bug bite, but the anxiety demon in me wants to say it's a lymph node. I'm glad part of this mystery is solved, but I still would like some answers.
