A few bad days with twitching
« on: June 14, 2014, 07:10:39 AM »
I've had. Few bad days with twitching of muscles that I had thought was getting better.  I did workout 2 days ago and my muscles have been very active since.  Of course, my mind is headed towards thinking i have ***, even though my neuro diagnosed the twitching as benign.

Anyone have twitches and tips for dealing with them.  Mine come and go besides the past two days where they have been more constant but widespread.  Anyone have their twitches fade away?

I have twitches that come and go, and I find that they are much more prominent after working out. My doctor said it was just due to the tensing and relaxing of muscles, which is why working them hard made it a lot worse. His advice was to just ignore them, and eventually I'd not even notice them anymore. Seems to be working well :)

Make sure you are well hydrated (this does not mean soda, coffee, etc) especially when exercising otherwise you can cause the types of issues you are describing

Thanks - it's just been a few bad days, more twitching than I am used to especially one vile twitch in the area between my pinky and wrist on the side of my hand.  Making me a bit scared
