Twitching of my left index finger...just wagging away.  I blew it off.  The next day still going.  At that point, my knowledge was very basic about ***.  I knew just enough to do research and scare myself.  Then I started twitching everywhere and fell apart physically and emotionally.  It was a really bad month.  I seen a neuro and started to feel better.

Twitching triggered mine as well.

Began in neck, moved to leg.

I googled.

Twitches and pain. Everywhere.

6 months ago I started suffering from urine retention. I got really stressed when doctors mentioned things like ovarian cancer. I then read on a urine retention forum that MS could cause it! I didn't really worry about MS until one night my left leg was twitching non stop for hours. Then I became obsessed with Ms and have since had many other symptoms - tingling, electric shock feelings, pins and needles, hot and cold patches on skin, stabbing pains in right eye, dizziness and twitching everywhere.

In March I had a scan to investigate the urine retention and they foUnd I had kidney cancer! Extremely rare in a 39 year old woman like me. It was completely unrelated to my urine retebtion and was found by chance. I had my kidney removed. I was amazingly lucky and caught it early. They think it's unlikely to return.

Obviously the last few months have been very stressful especially when I had the wait 2 months for the biopsy results and my prognosis. My neurological symptoms have gone through the roof and I STILL fear MS! However I'm really noticing a link with anxiety now. When I've been most afraid I get most twitching electric shock feelings etc. I only started getting symptoms after I started worrying about MS. Just writing that had made me feel better! I really do believe my nerves are shot after 6 months of worry and that's why I get so many strange symptoms.

Twitching in my thumb then googled and scared the crap out of myself. Then body wide twitching and atrophy in wrist hand and forearm. 7 neuros 2of them als specialists later still panicked. No strength loss which is surprising.

I too had twiches all over but I had them before my anxiety started so I dont know why I panicked when I payed attetion to them and researched online.

It seem the more we google the more scared we get. So I stoped researching every symptomp and my hypochondria has subsided

Tingling and dizziness. Then I googled and it's been 2+ yrs of hell. 3 MRIs and 2 neuro visits plus numerous dr appts later and everything has come back normal.

for me it was neck twitches spasm after an intense workout and I brushed it off as to stretch. then later that night it did it again. Then I felt my left forearm cramped and I kept testing its strength and whatnot. Then I felt my ankle pain after a sparring session and ever since I keep thinking atrophy and weakness is in my ankle. Never saw a specialist but thought of it for reassurance.
