Worried
« on: June 11, 2014, 01:47:54 PM »
My thumbs have been sore (one moreso than the other).  It hurts in the tendon (I think) and knuckles.  I have had sporadic twitches over the last few months and saw a neuro who diagnosed me with benign fasciculations with anxiety.  My mind can't lose a fear of A** and I have had shoulder and upper back muscle tension.  I have heard A** typically starts in fingers so I am nervous.  Soreness is when bending the thumb.  Do I have anything to worry about?

Have you been self-testing, by chance? Also anxiety can cause awful tension.

Actually cramping is common, but not necessary, before weakness. Soreness, no. I'm still sure you're fine. Just correcting misinformation I see a lot around this disease. I'm in the exact same boat as you right now.

Thanks, I just don't like the randomness of the pain/soreness and bring in the thumb.  Still seem to have normal strength, just hurts a bit in the tendon and joint when unscrewing a cap.  Can still unscrew, but get some pain
