When I first started having anxiety issues, I had a well known to all of you symptom, the shortness of breath.
I could breath quickly and deeply and feel "air hungry" as if there wasn't enough air and oxygen on earth for me.
When I learned more about anxiety and panic attacks, and understoon that it isnt going to kill me,
(of course I went to the doctor and had checks done)
I just started riding it out, letting it pass.. but sometimes I had whole days I needed to time my breathing to not hyperventilate.
And it went away..
Now its back, and its different.
I get shortness of breath but my stomach is all bloated, it tends to happen after I eat.
I feel so bloated I can't take a deep breath like I used to.
When I try I can feel my diaphragm pushing against my stomach.
I get up and stretch my body reaching with my hands, that makes me feel I can take more air in.
