Terrified of pancreatic or colon cancer
« on: June 08, 2014, 10:19:51 AM »
Hi, i'm a 21 y.o male. For the last days i've been feeling some abdominal discomfort... but not pain. I dont have diarrhea or blood in stools.

I'm totally scared of pancreatic or colon cancer  :(

No way -- it's almost unheard of at your age.  My brother died of PC and the symptoms are intense (I don't want to tell you what they were for obvious reasons).  Let's put it this way, I think u can rule PC out.  Colon ca is also rare for your age, but is slow growing and treatable.  Before you head to the doctor consider diet changes, acid reflux, etc.  I'm sure ur ok

As the previous post said, PC is unheard of at your age. PC risk begins to increase after
age 45 and reaches its peak in the elderly. CC is extremely rare at 21. Your symptoms may
be due to stress, gas, IBS or the like.
