All hypochondriacs out there
« on: June 08, 2014, 10:01:38 AM »
I have been thinking of this for awhile and just decided I guess I'll share with everyone..

I am diagnosed with gad and panic disorder but I am also a hypochondriac.. My anxiety had started around spring of last year.. With all the test I've been threw I think my god I've been scanned from head to toe surly they would have found something ... On the other hand a lot of disease have anxiety as a symptom

So why do I do this to myself I drive myself crazy thinking all day ready about ***** that is wrong with me....  How do you know the difference between anxiety and a medical problem???! I just wanna he back to normal but I can't ....

I was just wondering if anyone else is like me ... I don't even mean to think of these things I just do

There area great many other people like you out there, with the same nagging question. I do it to myself as well. One clue for me was stress. My stress brings out my hypochondia like nothing else. For others it may be differrent. One thing for sure though is that talking about it helps. My mother is an even bigger one than me so we can talk about and laugh together.
