Fatigue or something else
« on: June 06, 2014, 07:33:35 PM »
Had a decent day - then went to workout.  Nice 30 minute cardio - a bit fatigued but nothing abnormal.  Then I try to do some triceps presses and one of my arms starts shaking.  My arm didn't fail but was uncomfortable shaking more than the other.  So scared again of onset of ALS.  Why the hell does this happen to me.  The same shoulder was stiff for months but haven't really had strength issues at all.  Very very very scared!

Anyone have any experience with this?

My issue is that it was only really one arm and resembled myoclonus

I'm not sure why you would even care if it were myoclonus. Clonus is the thing you should be concerned about. Myoclonus is associated with a number of neurological disorders, but, like fasisculations, can be benign.

Can clonus happen in the bicep/tricep area.  My whole upper arm was shaking badly :(
