Hi there. Well, I am a hairstylist with many, many years experience. If you have fine soft hair unfortunately tangling comes with the territory. When was the last time you had it cut? Hair has about a 6 year life from when it comes out of the scalp to when it sheds. So for people with long hair it can be quite old at the ends, and the cuticle can be damaged and raised and all those damaged cuticles from the midshaft to ends can work almost like velcro and really stick to each other. I know for people with long hair the idea of a good healthy cut is something they don't want to think about!!! But good regular trims keep those dry damaged ends away and can't help prevent tangling.
If you find the Wen to heavy for your hair (oily), its because Wen contains A LOT of glycerin, in fact it is the 2nd ingredient in the cleansing conditioner, along with high amounts of rosemary oil, and sweet almond oil... so really you're just cleansing your hair with a big ole blob of oil... not good for fine delicate hair.
So, consider going to go get a nice good trim.. remember it always grows back!! Hope this helps!!! <3
