should i be worried?!?
« on: June 04, 2014, 07:33:18 PM »
Hi im a 32year old female I have a severe phobia of the C word, just hearing or seeing it almost puts me into full panic mode, anyway my question is about blood work, ive been to the er a couple times this year and they have done blood work, my gp said it was extensive costly and unnessary, it all came back normal! My doctor told me to stop stewing over the C word cause i dont have it!! Well my question is if i did have some sort of C would my blood work be abnormal? TIA

I'm not a doctor, but from what I understand from all the tests I have had that if there is something wrong with your body, then the tests they give would show abnormalities. Do you see a psych dr? They should be able to explain to you what all these tests mean as well as offer some treatment for the phobic tendencies you might have.

Yup, it would show up in your blood work.
