lung cancer and swollen face/neck
« on: June 04, 2014, 01:50:02 PM »
Right now I'm going through some pretty intense panic and anxiety over a family member's recent strange symptoms that point to lung cancer. It seems that everything she is experiencing is matching up in some way to things I read up on the internet. Has anyone had experience with swelling of face/neck? I saw her the other day and her face/neck do seem a little "puffier" than normal. I remember that she made an offhand comment several weeks ago about feeling as if there is fluid build up in her neck.

I felt her neck and couldn't feel any palpable nodes on the outside perse, but there does seem to be some movable bumps in there. I am really scared and hoping it turns out to be nothing, but there just doesn't seem to be any harmless thing it could be! :(
