Trying to stay off google!!!
« on: June 01, 2014, 06:03:03 PM »
I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem...
Does anyone else sort of just feel permanently anxious? Like heavy chest
Feeling of anxiety and panicky?
I feel this constant like 24/7 and it's worrying me that it's rarely coming and going?

How long have you felt like this? I can feel this way for months sometimes. Then again, other times I can go for weeks with hardly any issue. Have you been diagnosed with anxiety?

Yes, I have this feeling almost all day and have had it for many months. Please let me know what your doctor says. I am on an antidepressant but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Feel well.

Nah I've not formally been diagnosed with health anxiety, but from the way I am panicking about a million different diseases I feel it's a likely option.
I'm just so worried, I feel so anxious every minute of every day!
Even when I'm Asleep I have nightmares of getting diagnosed with something!

Have your anti depressants helped lift your mood at all?
I'm going tomorrow to see if they can refer me to anyone to help sort this as it's consuming my life now!

I've not had good luck with antidepressants, but many others have. Different things work for different people. I would suggest trying other techniques first and then trying medications if that isn't enough, but you'd do best to just let your doctor have all the information and make a decision together with them.

Staying off google is a great idea.  Stay strong!

And yeah, I feel like that a lot.  Anti-anxiety medication helps a lot usually.  I take it as-needed and it's quite effective for me.

One thing I can say about Google is I think it is very helpful for someone who doesent have HA, but for those of us that do, it's horrible. Google is what started my worst bout of HA and I regret ever goin to check my symptoms
