Leukemia - does it always show in blood tests?
« on: June 01, 2014, 05:41:05 PM »
I've had several blood tests done lately, basic blood tests among others. Can I be sure I don't have leukemia since all these tests came back normal?

The symtoms I'm scared about is that i have tenia versicolor on my chest and an itchy rasch on my arm. I've had these symtoms for a few months now.

Does anyone else have tenia versicolor?

Of course, it goes without saying that I'm not a doctor but I would think it would show in blood work.

Yes.  Your blood work would show something wrong if you had leukemia.

Depends on the testing you're having done, but typically you will have abnormalities.

My friend has suspected leukemia; she was pi**ing out so many white-cells you could see them without a microscope. I can say at no point did the doctors think there was nothing wrong. She also did not present with the symptoms you're describing.

Have a new big bruise on my leg today. Very scared about this! Also, I've been having leg pains. The pain comes and goes.

Does anyone know what leg pain caused by leukemia is supposed to feel like?

Does anyone know is bruises caused by leukemia hurt or not?

PLEASE NEED HELP.

I truly believe leukemia would show up in your blood work.

Yes. There would be abnormalities on your tests if you had it.
