Heart Worries
« on: May 27, 2014, 11:58:35 AM »
I have been to my main doctor and a GI specialist once. The GI specialist ordered an ultrasound and endoscopy. The ultrasound has been done and the radiologist said it looked like I had gallbladder sludge and a fatty liver (I'm 18, I don't drink) and the endoscopy is early next month and then I see him again to see what's up.

My main doctor had an EKG and blood tests done and everything came back normal. Despite that, I keep worrying about my heart. I know that IBS (which the GI doc suspects I have) and GERD (which I have been diagnosed with) can offer up palpitations or make you erroneously feel like you're having them. I also know anxiety can cause them as well but I can't stop worrying about it. If an EKG was done about aomth ago is that long enough for some unknown heart problem to develop? Thanks for your input.
