Wow. I thought this was me writing this! I started feeling like the floor was moving under my feet in feb and started thinking the worse! Including brain tumor and convinced myself that's what I had and ended up seeing an ent. I felt same way, I felt like I was walking on a boat. I didn't get the dizziness. It put me in bed for 2 months cause I hated walking that way and it set off my panic. It ended up being a sinus infection. After predinsone and augmentin for it, my balance improved. But now my legs are out of shape from bed bound. I had ct scan of sinuses and top of brain and brain showed no masses or anythibg. I'm still battling the fear but I know google is what put the fear in my mind so do not google.

Go to dr and have sinuses checked.

I see a neurologist tomorrow at 930 am I am absolutely scared to death its my first time ever seeing one and now its because I actually feel awful. I am afraid he will say I need an MRI because it can be something serious. I know how rare brain tumors are. But I was up last night every 45 minutes to fall abck asleep for 10 minutes then up again 45 minutes and now have been awake for 2 hours.

I wouldn't worry about them asking for a mri. It is basically a preliminary process to eliminate possibilities that most Neuros ask

My sinus infection started off with the floor bouncing under feet then I had some pressure tightness im forehead and eyes didn't want to focus and Claritin fixed the eyes. And my head still feels off some days. Also have nasal congestion and post nasal drip.

Obviously I'm not a neurologist but you sound like you have an inner ear thing going on, not a brain thing.  Even if they do send you for an MRI it's likely to be thorough and for your peace of mind.  Try not to stress.
