Cardiophobia
« on: May 24, 2014, 08:51:51 PM »
This issue recently reemerged for me after a meal that caused a small amount of tachycardia which lead to a massive panic attack. Now I'm obsessing over my heart rate and what foods to avoid so that doesn't happen again. I think it may have been caused by the large amount of carbs ingested quickly when I hadn't eaten much that day. Anyway, any other cardiophobes out there?  :action-smiley-065:

Oh yes, there are many of us around here, or so it seems to me atleast. You might want to give this thread in the Hypochondria section a look: http://www.anxietyzone.com/index.php/topic,42616.0.html

Sorry to hear you're going through this as well. It really is a horrible fear to have :/
