This meditation, along with TEA Forms (read here
) has really helped me be calmer and more at peace. I have trouble focusing during meditation, so I do the Buddhist Loving Kindness Meditation (Metta Meditation) combined with Hoʻoponopono Self-I-Dentity meditation so that I have something wholesome to think about which keeps my mind busy and still creates positive energy.
Sit comfortable and all that. Then say this to yourself. It takes 15-30 minutes and you will be amazed at the amount of relief and reconciliation it will bring to you.
say the below words for:
a loved one
a difficult person
a person you don't like
a group of people you like
a group of people you do not like
all animals, insects and creatures
all sentient beings in the universe: micro-organisms, life on other planets
all inter-dimensional beings you believe in: spirits, demi-gods, demons and ghosts
enlightened beings and guides you believe in: saints, buddhas, angels
your understanding of the ultimate god/universe
may you be at peace
may you be happy
may you feel joy in your heart
may you forgive
may you be healthy
may you be safe
may you find relief
may you have love in your heart
may you be well
I am sorry if I have hurt you
I love you and forgive you
You may be surprised at the amount of resentments, bitterness and anger this can temporarily bring up, that you did not realize you have in you. Its ok, just let it come and go and keep saying the words, even if it feels like you don't mean it at first. Eventually it sinks it.
