fear of life
« on: May 16, 2014, 05:30:08 PM »
Well I worry alot and because I don't act like an average 18 year old even though I'm 18 and people normally go out get drunk party and work. I DO NONE OF THAT! Because I have asperges and adhd but I desperately want to do what most people my age do when all I seem to  do is sit in my room all day and socialise with none. I just worry and worry until I freak out thinking what  if I have no future? What if I don't get married have kids get a house?! I don't know what I'm suppose to really do anymore because I fear so much about the future and about getting a job. I even quit my driving lessons because I feel like I'd fail and  i'm to shy I'm afraid to talk to people I need help):

Hey Harley,

Although you may not go out and party, there's really not much you're missing out on except a bunch of sweaty people and bafoonery. However, you should get out into the intellectual world. Go out and join clubs that are within your field of interest in universities and colleges near you. Usually you can join those clubs without having to be affiliated with the uni or college unless it's a requirement. I worry a lot too about missing out on the life because I don't go out and drink/party, but I've realized that's not a life I want to live. I'd much rather be around those who are intellectually stimulating and that will accept and understand for who I am. I hope this helps:]
