Has any HA suffers looked into this?
« on: May 16, 2014, 10:32:33 AM »
I was watching the news last night and they were highlighting a site called crowd med. It supposedly helps give diagnosis for things that can't be solved. anyone heard of this? I am thinking that is probably best to not try it?

From what the site looks like its for health care professionals...ie doctors asking other doctors for medical opinions.  Its not for people like us asking... I have a bump on my arm.. is it cancer?

I would stay away from it for these same reasons. It just sounds like an anxiety attack waiting to happen. Not only that, I'm sure a lot of what they say would make sense to those of us that didn't go to med school so it may even be pointless for the average Joe.

It's for anyone looking for a doctors or community answer. It is probably best to stay away. I was intrigued because they were interviewing the man that started it and he said he started it because his sister had been to hundreds of doctors in 3 years because she had severe depression and anxiety along with other things and was only recently diagnosed. He didn't want other people to suffer.
