Anyone on disability for anxiety?
« on: May 15, 2014, 03:28:04 PM »
I have delt with anxiety and panic disorder for 12 years. It affects my job and even my normal functioning of life, as you all im sure have seen. I have been on here since 2005 so thats some proof. My doctor said I will have to fill out paper work and he would help me out. Is it worth it?How much do you get per week, or per month etc. I dont want to not work the rest of my life, but its hard to function really.

How do I go about starting the disability process... thank you.

Hey Valley, go to your social security office and they will give you a packet to fill out....it's very time consuming, but I've heard it pays enough for some to live on.  If your doc will help you, that's all the better as I'm sure he's done this process before.

 Hi  valleyplayer42  :action-smiley-065:

Yep go to your local Social Security Office.  It will take a while to get the process done.  But if you feel you need to look into it go for it.  Your pay depends on your living Arrangements.  It's just enough to pull you through.
