Foot cramps
« on: May 12, 2014, 10:27:12 PM »
Anyone here get a tiny cramp in the arch of their feet when laying down at night sometimes? I notice I get them every now and then and all I do is stretch my big toe out and it stops. This has been occurring to me since 2006. I am an athlete and I just noticed it has been happening for a long time.

These happen to me a lot too! I hate them so much. I read that they can happen if you don't drink enough water. When I drink water they usually go away, but sometimes I have to walk them off.

In the scheme of things it doesn't matter much.~

Same here.  Stretching fixes it.

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.  - AnxietyZone member Sixpack

Yep; happens to me more and more as I get older.  Stay hydrated and make sure you've got plenty of potassium in your diet; those things lessen them.
