Maybe you could try a natural supplement such as magnesium, melatonin or niacin?
They all can assist in improving sleep.
I am sure that fact that you are focusing so much on your sleeping, counting how many days this has been happening etc, isn't helping. Your mind is subconciously worrying about it, and that might be why you are waking up at the same time every night.
I have the off balance (elevator feeling, as you describe it) feeling too, almost 24/7 so terrifying, and my worst symptom.
