Has anyone tried this? Its a guy who overcame his anxiety and panic, and now he makes c.d.'s and sells them. They are pretty spendy... I am just wandering if anyone has taken these courses? Are they for real??

Hi MBI...  My name is Chuck and I am one of the Global Moderators here on Anxiety Zone.

I looked over the "I-Love-Panic-Attacks" website, and I was not impressed.

The classic treatment for panic disorder/panic attacks is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and from what I could see, that is what is being used on the ILPA site.  And yes, you are right that $179 is mighty pricey for a few CD's that teach you CBT.

David H. Barlow is the author of some 20 books and 400 articles/chapters on anxiety disorders and abnormal psychology.  I am using his workbook, "Mastery of Your Anxiety and Panic", to learn CBT, along with seeing a psychologist/therapist.  You can get the Kindle edition of this book for a mere $17, and the paperback is around $28.

The very best to you, MBI!...  Chuck :grinning-smiley-003:
