Inner Ear Problems?
« on: May 02, 2014, 04:02:13 PM »
Even when I don't feel anxious at all and my head pressure etc is gone I still feel dizzy and off balance. This has been going on for around 4 months 24/7 now. I read that one of the symptoms of inner ear issues is uneven eye pressure/ eyes have been 'off' and feeling unbalanced for years....probably 5 or so years. I know the majority of my physical symptoms are anxiety-related. But could an inner ear issue also be causing problems? I know those issues can cause anxiety....whoch could in turn cuse other symptoms.

Oh YES... inner ear issues very much cause anxiety for me, especially if I have a cold.  Several years ago I had a very severe inner ear infection and got SEVERE, crippling vertigo that lasted for a month (24x7, even at night in bed)  It has so profoundly affected me that even years later (and after I have totally recovered from the physical aspects of the infection) I still stress about it.  I think it's a HUGH factor in my HA overall.  I felt totally helpless and that really sucked bad.

I do notice that dizziness is often one of the first things that start up when my anxiety is going crazy.
