Lymphoma fear has to stop
« on: May 01, 2014, 08:54:14 PM »
The left side of my neck has about an inch long slightly movable thing. I'm skinny and it is visible. This has been there for over a year so I know it's just just flared up and give it time to go away. Docs felt it and did blood tests an said not to worry about it. This was a year ago though. I'm worried all I read are stories of people being told it was ok and they found out otherwise. Please someone give me some input this is consuming me.  I'm 20 btw.

Generally with lymphoma other symptoms arise like itchy skin, night sweats, the whole 9 yards.  I would say that since nothing else has developed, that it's probably not lymphoma.  However, going back to the doctor wouldn't be a bad idea either - NOT because I think you have lymphoma, but just to have them check it out again.  It is more than likely a gland of some sort.
