Weird question.
« on: April 26, 2014, 11:51:15 AM »
This has been going on and off for a month. But the right corner of my mouth feels like it wants to droop.
I don't actually feel any particular sensation in my face like no twitching or tingling. I really don't know how to describe it but it looks normal. I just feel like it's going to droop. I've been worried about stroke and tumor lately.

If someone's mouth was gonna droop, wouldn't it just do it? And not linger around and I just sit and wait for it too. It's causing me anxiety.

You may just be paranoid, the only time half of my mouth was drooping was when I was younger and had Bells Palsey from stress... before I had this I was stressed and always yelling at the top of my lungs at the ones I hate and then my face felt tingly on one side then the next morning I couldn't move it. I think that if you're stressed out you could be getting this but otherwise to my knowledge there is nothing I can relate to that would match those symptoms, also Googling things won't help you as a HA sufferer, it just all will go to your head  :laugh3:
- PS Message me if you want too, I really am on here to help, my HA is at an all time low for I've changed my diet and have been going to theraphy, also getting more exercise.  :party0006:

Thanks for the reply. So you think that I might be getting Bell's palsy?  If so, I thought my mouth would have already dropped by now instead of it coming on so slowly. As I said, my face has no sensations. I don't even really know what made me think it wanted to droop.

I agree with you. If your mouth was going to drop, then it would.

"Feels like it wants to droop" is not a symptom of anything but hyperawareness.  If one side of your face actually does become paralyzed and droopy, see a doctor immediately.  But it's probably not going to - if it were, it would've done so by now!

I think it's my mind. Yes. Like my face feels no sensations at all and if I think about my mouth drooping I will get a sensation I'm my mind of that makes sense lol. I think this started when I got scared one night I was having a stroke then brain tumor. Ugh.

No physical sensation in my face I meant. I do have feeling. Didn't want y'all to think I had numbness in the face.
