It said few punctate abnormalities bilateral frontal white matter with POSSIBLE etiologies including early small vessel ischemic change or demyelinating disease.....I have to go to a neurologist and get a lumbar puncture....my brother a doctor is friends with a neurologist and he said thats actually normal for someone with migraines...so we will see...still pretty upset :(

Being unsure is the worst part. Even if you get bad results (which I'm sure you won't!), you may feel some relief to know that the unsureness is over.

Sorry to hear potentially stressful results - but they don't necessarily mean anything either.  I have a lesion that could be indicative of TIAs, ischemic vessel disease or demyelinating disease.  But in my case it's almost certainly none of those things; a lot of people have those sorts of spots.  But I get your doctor having to be super careful because of your family history.  Hopefully the rest of the tests will be negative.  Good luck!
