Since I've had my daughter I get bad migraines, I felt one coming on today, but have kept it under control with pain meds, but I feel a lot of pressure in my head and behind my eyes. The headache has been here all day and isn't in one spot, but I'm still worried. It's pretty focused in my temples. Could it b something more serious?

You have a headache...nothing more.  If you had a stroke you would not be typing you would be unconscious.  If it was an aneurysm you would be unconscious or dead.  My grand mother had several strokes when she was in her 80's and what you describe is nothing like them.  Try to relax and hang in there!

Totally agree with SJ. You have a new, big responsibility in your life and reactions can vary. Migraines can be one reaction. A period of big adjustment. There may be some relief medication, check with your doctor. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

And then try and find some quiet time for yourself. Yoga, tai chi, meditation can be soothing as well as just walking. Hope this helps some.

How long ago did you have the kiddo?  Lots of.people talk about post partum depression but post partum anxiety is also a very real condition brought on by the hormonal changes after giving birth.  As final said, talk to your doc.  I have also heard of mommy and baby yoga classes that might help and no need for a sitter!

Both of my grandparents on my mom's side suffered strokes.  Headaches never even featured in their symptoms.
