abdominal pain...freaking out!
« on: April 21, 2014, 04:24:29 PM »
I've been having upper middle discomfort since Friday. I went to the doctor today but I've noticed it doesn't hurt when I'm still only when sitting or moving sometimes. I'm freaking out thinking I have an unruptured anuersym or ulcer or that I'm going to have a heart attack. I thought about a pulled muscle but the only thing I've done is carry my 50 pound son when he was sick Thursday night. I'm so scared I'm about to drop dead.

Please somebody help! I've been to two ERS and the doctor since yesterday and so far they found nothing. I'm so scared and can't stop crying today because I know I'm about to die!

More than likely it's muscle tension.  Especially if there is no pain when you're not moving and you mentioned it only hurts sometimes.  Breathe deeply

MOST anxiety happens at the subconscious level.  JUST because you don't feel consciously anxious or had a day or two of calm doesn't mean your mind & body are relaxed.  It can take months of reduced anxiety before a body goes back to a more non-reactive state.  - AnxietyZone member Sixpack
