wrist muscles wasting
« on: April 21, 2014, 09:20:57 AM »
I have posted before about my als fears after seeing 3 neurologists my gp , er drs, physical therapist, podiatrist, an or tho as well as getting an emg, only on my right side and may left thumb which I'm still puzzled about, an MRI of brain and cs, a ct scan, as well as numerous blood work I'm still terrified about also. The last neuro was an als specialist with 30 years experience who stated that I def don't have also I have carpel tunnel as shown by the emg. For the past couple weeks I noticed that my left wrist and hand look smaller and I can see the tendons in my wrist where they weren't as prominent before. My question is can carpel tunnel cause muscle wasting like that if anybody has had similar experiences I would appreciate any input thank you.
