Can MS Cause ear symptoms?
« on: April 19, 2014, 12:08:02 PM »
asking you guys instead of google. I decided to read about MS this morning (why do I do this to myself?) I've been suffering from hearing loss and distortion around loud noises that comes and and goes as well as extreme dizziness/vertigo that's worse when I move my head. These symptoms last a few days then disappears for a while and I feel fine for a bit then it comes back. This has been going on since January.  Anyways today when I was reading about MS I saw that the symptoms can come and go like that and it also presents between 20-50 and more prevelent in women and I am turning 20 in July.  My fingers in my left hand are tingly this morning and I also deal with difficulty focusing ect. So now I'm just wondering if that could be it...

I'm sorry for posting so much. I know you guys can't diagnose me but I guess I'm hoping someone else has dealt with similar ear problems before that can relate and help me figure out what is going on. Even if you don't know, can you tell me if it sounds like my symptoms are due to something wrong with my ears and not my brain or heart?

During my MS fear I researched MS quite a bit and never found or head of anyone with ear symptoms. So there you go. Ear symptoms are definitely not listed on any of the med sites and I've never heard of MS affecting the ear.
