« on: April 17, 2014, 12:21:24 PM »
Been sick this morning and I've been coughing up snot cause my sinuses are draining and I have felt so close to throwing up and my anxiety making it worse cause I'm scared this is brain tumor. The antibiotics for this sinus infection havent helped. Even though I do feel more balanced walking. But this being sick on stomach scaring me.

Two common things that cause nausea are draining sinuses and taking antibiotics.

i have had sinus problems for the past several months. I live in an old apartment complex so it gets really stuffy in here. My nose clogs up and then they drain and it KILLS my stomach. For a while, I was worrying about a brain tumor as well because I felt so much pressure from my head and sinuses and constant nausea from the drainage. I think it is safe to say the sinuses can cause these things. I hope you feel better soon! I know how you feel!

Yes. The sick on stomach feeling is the worse and the pressure on forehead makes it feel like tumor doing the pressure. I'm gonna have a ct scan of not only my sinuses but of my entire head to see if I have brain Tumor.

Did your pressure get worse leaning or bending over on your feet? It's bad for me. I feel so wobbly.

Worsening when bending over is also classic of sinus problems.  Hopefully your scan will bring you peace of mind, but find someone to help you with your anxiety afterwards :)

oh yeah! bending over was the worst. i also have GERD so bending over is like,  a no no for me. So, yes I felt all over the place. I still do sometimes....totally weird. But I have all of your symptoms and have had them for several months and I havent had anything serious and have had multiple tests done. I hope you get peace from your ct scan and get well soon!

When I bend over or even lift my head it feels like thick mud moving in my forehead. Sometimes makes me dizzy headed. It triggers my anxiety terribly.

See, this is my First time having a frontal sinus problem this badly.  If I could have seen dr soon as I began feeling off in feb I think it would not have gotten to this point. Normally I don't flip out over a sinus infection but since this is obviously a bad one, and not being familiar with how bad they can be, it's shot up my anxiety like never before and of course google not good. No better next time.

I have a ct scan set up for may 8th. I told my ENT assistant I wanted full head so hopefully my ENT be ok with that. I think once I see there's nothing wrong with my brain it will take away a lot of my anxiety and then maybe she can pin point what's going on with my sinuses. If I need surgery so be it!
