Convinced of throat cancer or esophagus
« on: April 17, 2014, 05:35:43 AM »
My anxiety has been good for awhile as I started prozac but now it's back and I can't shake the fear of cancer in my throat or elsewhere. I've had a spot on the back of my throat for a couple months now that doesn't cause any pain. I would almost describe the look of it like a blister. Just an area that seems raised. The size is a little smaller than a pinky nail. I developed a sore throat a couple days ago. Not sore like I'm sick, just sore to swallow at times. The pain is low in my throat. Also I noticed another spot developing on the other side of my throat as well. I'm a 25 y/o male. Used to smoke, dip, and drink. I do none of that anymore. My dad has stomach cancer at the moment so that is adding to my anxiety.
