I started to get better help today

I had my first appointment with a Psychologist that specializes in Anxiety and uses various forms of CBT.  She is a PhD and seems very good.  And, reassuring that we get this under control and improve my quality of life.  Today was an assessment and next week we get rolling with a very active CBT program.

She is also referring me to a Psychiatrist that specializes in those not responding well to the medication merry-go-round.  I hope help is on the way.

Hi Happy...  That is such good news, that you are getting appropriate help!

I also just recently started seeing a psychologist that specializes in anxiety disorders, and am just starting to learn about cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).  I go to a psychiatrist for my mental health care, so I too am very grateful for my healthcare team.

I'd enjoy keeping in touch with you, so we can share how our CBT and treatment is going.

I also started doing CBT two weeks ago.

Really hoping that this will help me to work on the anxiety, and more importantly, fix my sleep.

Is anyone else having an issue of just not being able to sleep at night, at all!?
