I would also take time off and keep doing what I'm doing: seeing a pdoc and therapist, exercising, eating right, garden, spend time with family, etc. Not having to go to work everyday would be a huge stress relief on its own.
I don't think there is a doctor out there who can "cure" our problems. I really like the doctors I have now; they may not be the "best in the world", but they have helped me along the way and continue to do so. At some point, we really need to work hard on ourselves to feel better, and not put that responsibility on a doctor... even the best one in the world!
