having a haed time telling the difference...
« on: April 13, 2014, 03:29:05 PM »
Ok so I have allergy induced asthma and I smoke a half of pack per day.....stupid I know. With anxiety I know there comes shallow breathing and that "I can't get a deep breath feeling". I've been over using my inhalor thinking its my asthma yet I'm not wheezing or anything....i don't know its just so hard to tell the difference

I will agree that anxiety symptoms can overlap with symptoms of other things. Which is why we have so many people think they have other things wrong with themselves. I suppose with yourself you should know what your asthma feels like. Even if you it is just a small difference. Something that will tell you which is which. It would depend on how often you had the asthma attacks as well. Maybe the anxiety attacks occur more often so you rule things out that way.
