So yeah. I swallowed a gnat or a fly at the zoo. Now I'm terrified of contracting some kind of animal related disease. My throat started hurting a few hours later but I could just be getting sick (very long day out in the sun). Currently feeling very nauseous but I ate a burger and my stomach is a bit sensitive as it is. Any reassurance is appreciated. Also, if anyone has any tips to remedy bad nausea (I get it a lot due to anxiety) that would be wonderful. So tired of feeling nasty in my stomach.  :sick0002: :sick0002: :sick0002:

You are not going to catch a disease from the fly/gnat. I can't tell you how many I've swallowed accidentally while living on a farm. I survived, and so will  you!

As far as nausea goes, I always recommend ginger. Ginger in any form will do. It definitely helps my stomach woes!

My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.

Your stomach distress may be likely due to your worry about the fly.

Hope you can relax.
