Let's review this logically - for the last few weeks, you were convinced you had a brain tumor and all you wanted was a scan because you were convinced that it would make your anxiety go away.  So now you have a scan that's clear but you're back in the reassurance cycle…thinking that now you need an MRI and constantly asking for reassurance on here.

When does this stop and when do you treat your anxiety?  I am not trying to be mean but I know hard it is to think clearly when you're in the middle of everything.

Falcon, I don't think your being mean and appreciate your honesty  :happy0151: I actually have found a therapist that I really like and we are practicing cbt techniques. My psych also upped my paxil....for obsessive thoughts. I'm trying I really am

I'm really glad I didn't upset you.  I'm really happy for you.  Getting help was the hardest part for me but now I'm doing relatively well, I'm so glad I did.  I'm not cured but I'm able to handle it so much better.

I've had at least 3 head aches every week since november, when my anxiety went into full gear, for about 3 months of this time I had a headache every day of the week, I've had tension headaches, and ice pick headaches in this time also some sinus headaches, my doctor and eye doctor still saw and see nothing indicating brain tumor and I was at my doctor at least 2 a month up until march and from november

No I never I was far too scared to to anything about it but after talking with my friend I agrees to her that I would go to the doctor about it but there was never any need after that I suppose.

Yea that's true I guess. I still wonder if I should get an MRI.....just to be sure even though I've been 2 days without a headache
