Scared of blood cancers
« on: April 09, 2014, 04:51:52 PM »
Today I have had a bloody nose in my nostril all day.  When I used the restroom there was blood when I wiped, not in stool but when I wiped.  These symptoms plus constant muscle tightness and headaches is leading me to believe I have cancer.

Well, first off, blood cancers aren't at all related to bleeding, and bleeding in places that are common areas of bleeding isn't necessarily a sign of any sort of cancer, either. Blood in your nose could be the result of dryness or even stress, which would make sense considering you also mention muscle tightness and headaches - all physical symptoms of anxiety. As far as your stool goes, was it particularly hard or large? Dry? Lumpy? There are a lot of things that can cause a little bleeding around the anus. None of these point to cancer. Most point to anxiety.

Then that's exactly why you bled. Not cancer. Just a painful poo, haha.
