I've never taken it before (I take Zoloft), but I know plenty of people who have, and many of them have had a lot of success with it.

It really just depends on the person, though. There's not one specific med that fits everyone. Sometimes it takes a lot of trial and error, and sometimes you hit a home run on your first go. You never know.

There are always + and - with every med and there are people, who praise it and people who hate it.
I got wellbutrin to boost up the effects of paxil. I'm on 150 mg, extended release, morning dose. It helped the brain fog go away and it's been good for my concentration. Initial side effects were few, most annoying one was insomnia which got worse with wellbutrin. It took me few months to get my regular sleeping pattern back.
Good luck!  :action-smiley-065:

Meds affect everyone so differently. My advise to you is to not read the insert about the side effects. I was on it for a short time years ago, don't remember it being really bad I just got to the point where I wanted to use exercise to help deal with my anxiety. Best of luck!

It may be different for everyone, but I have bad anxiety and Welbutrin seemed to make it worse. I think I stayed on it for about 3 weeks before I said no way, I can't deal with this anymore. Maybe if I would have stuck it out it would have had better results? Hopefully you have a good experience with it! SSRi's are my ideal meds for anxiety.

From my knowledge, wellbutrin is not the best for anxiety and should be used primarily to treat depression .

Well, I guess talking to me my doctor thinks that my HA is caused by depression due to the ways I react to it. She prescribed wellbutrin specifically because I also suffer from ADHD and she thinks wellbutrin can help with both problems.
